Community Cupboard
Mondays 10 a.m. to 12 noon*
This program was established in response to increased visits from neighbours seeking assistance to meet their basic needs. Poverty continues to be a significant challenge in downtown Kitchener. Neighbourhood access to free food and warm clothing is key, since transportation is a major hurdle for low-income residents. Our congregation's weekly Community Cupboard is one of many organizations that help care for the needs of people in their own local area.
*except holiday Mondays
What's offered?
- non-perishable food;
- fresh foods (when available);
- warm clothing (during the winter months);
- coffee, juice, cookies, and a warm welcome to all.
NOTE: Beginning January 9th, 2012, the Community Cupboard is relocating to the opposite side of the building. Please enter via the Church Street doors.

Would you like to help?
The Community Cupboard is a free service provided by the members of Historic St. Paul's. If you wish to donate food, clothing, money, or your time, please contact Tony or Kathy.
Consider dropping off your
empty pop cans at the church!
Volunteers crush the cans
and sell them as scrap metal
to provide funds for the Community Cupboard.
Also gratefully accepted: cleaned-off aluminum foil/aluminum pie plates, beer/liquor/wine bottles & cans.
All people regardless of personal beliefs are welcome to visit the Community Cupboard. If you want to know more about Jesus Christ or about Christian beliefs, please help yourself to the printed material on display. Our pastor is also happy to meet with you. Just ask.
As do other free distribution centres, we ask that our guests provide personal identification at each visit. Some examples: health card, driver's license, ODSP or welfare stub, immigration papers, etc. Thank you.
