"Christian for a Reason"
Michael Coren, host of a popular daily TV discussion panel, will be our guest for a thought-provoking evening:
Sunday, September 19, 2010
7:00 p.m.
in the Parish Hall
(Please enter via the Church St. doors.)
Admission: FREE
Born in England, son of a Jewish cab driver, Coren became a Roman Catholic in his twenties. After some time in Evangelical circles he returned to the Catholic Church in 2004.
Coren is well known for being provocative and politically incorrect, but also strongly pro-life and pro-family.
In addition to hosting The Michael Coren Show, he writes a weekly syndicated newspaper column and is the author of a dozen books including biographies of G.K. Chesterton, H.G. Wells and C.S. Lewis.
Following the presentation, there will be light refreshments and time for informal visiting with Mr. Coren. All are welcome.
This is the third in a series of lectures to mark Historic St. Paul's 175th Anniversary year. Sponsored by the Rockel Lecture Fund.
