Kicking Off Our 175th Anniversary

Posted on Monday, December 14, 2009 at 07:42 PM

On Sunday, January 3, the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Voege will be our guest preacher as we celebrate the festival of the Epiphany of Our Lord.

Dr. Voege is the son of the late Rev. Hermann Voege (1907-1987), who himself was a son of our congregation, having been baptized, confirmed and ordained as a member.  Dr. Voege is pastor of Our Saviour Lutheran Church in London, Ontario.  He also serves as chairman of the Worship Committee of  Lutheran Church-Canada, East District.

This is the first in a number of special events scheduled for our 175th anniversary in 2010.  On Sunday, February 28, Dr. Emil Silvestru of Creation Ministries International will be our guest lecturer at 7:00 p.m.
