Mid-Season Tournament [1st]

What a tournament it was! After a rough start and losing our 2nd baseman, Steph, to an ankle injury during the 1st game, we recovered well. We won our semi final game against the Benchwarmers, by a score of 7-5. We faced our nemesis, the Royals, in the finals. It was a battle of David and Goliath. We came out hard early and established a 5 run lead halfway through the game. The Royals battled back to within 1 run, but our defence stayed focused and determined. In the end, we shut them down and won the game by a score of 12-11! 

This was our 1st A division title that I can remember since I've been in the league.
