Game 12 [T]

Today, your Crusaders played the Benchwarmers in a back and forth battle. We played a much better offensive game and had some timely hitting. However, as it has been the case this past month, we don't do things the easy way. We let a lead slip away and after they had a couple of multiple run innings, we found ourselves down 11-6 going into the last part of the 9th inning. Cue the comeback! I used the expression “down but not out” in last week's recap. Well in the 9th inning, we were down but not out. We dug our heels in, scored 5 runs and the game ended in an 11-11 tie.

Way to go team! Next week we play the Silver Bullets. I will be away so there won't be a recap for 2 weeks.
