Game 11 [L]

This Tuesday, your Crusaders played the Phoenix. We had a strong first have of the game as we had a 5-4 lead after 5 innings. Our defence was solid and we had some timely hitting. Unfortunately, that all fell apart in the 7th and 8th inning. They scored 5 in the 7th, and 3 in the 8th. We were unable to match their offence in the latter part of the game. We hit the ball well, but the Phoenix defence was outstanding in the last half of the game. In the end, we lost 12-5. We have 3 players still battling through some injuries, but we're getting healthier every week. We are down, but we are not out. We have a month left in the season and we will battle hard right to the end!
